School Pictures

Early in September I received a notice that pictures were going to be taken at school. Of course I was all over that idea – you can never have enough pictures! I filled out the form and submitted it along with the specified fee of $12. I assumed I’d be getting the typical individual pose and the standard whole class picture. The proofs that came back were a wonderful surprise. The photographer took about six poses of each child and they weren’t in front of an ugly cloth backdrop. Connor’s picture was taken outside with him sitting on one of the bikes. Very fitting, since that is something he loves to do. The group picture was also taken outside in the covered play area. Choosing just one pose wasn’t easy – they were all great. When the pictures came back they were done like a page in a scrapbook.

This is a scan, so the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I love how natural Connor appears. If you look very closely at the class picture, you can see him saying cheese!
