More water tower tales!!! Yesterday morning Connor and I were a little early for school – unbelievable, I know – so we took a little side trip on our way. We have a friend, Kent, who works for the town and I thought if he was working near the Listowel water tower, maybe he’d let Connor go inside the fenced area to touch the tower. As I drove the car around behind the town building, I saw Kent in a backhoe just coming out of the shed. I stopped the car and ran over to ask the all-important question. The answer was yes! Back in the car I asked Connor if he wanted to touch the Listowel water tower. Any guesses as to what his answer was?
Last weekend was our whole family get together before mom and Jimmy leave for their winter destination. They don’t leave for a while yet, but it was the only weekend that we all had free. You know how busy life gets! It was decided that we would gather in Wiarton. I’m so glad we did because it was a gorgeous fall weekend.
Connor and I went up Friday night and the Bolton clan arrived on Saturday afternoon. There was great excitement when Uncle David, Aunt Julie, Devin and Meaghan pulled up in their van. Connor loves his aunt and uncle and his cousins. The rest of us think they’re pretty okay too!
